Daniels, Richard E.

 

Richard E. Daniels age 48 of Ten Mile passed away Monday July 19, 2010 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He attended Spoken Word Ministries. He was a member of the Laborer's Union and worked at the Kingston Steam Plant for 12 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Preceded in death by his father C.L. Daniels, brothers Charles Jr. Daniels and Bruce Nelson, and sister Carolyn Daniels.
 
Survivors include:
Wife Debbie Daniels of Ten Mile;
Daughters Casey Daniels of Oliver Springs;
Kelly Daniels of Ten Mile;
Step daughter Amanda Taylor and husband Jesse of Lenior City;
Mother Betty Weaver of Harriman;
Sisters Addie Powers and husband Russell of Rockwood;
Maggie Poland of Knoxville;
Brothers Albert Daniels and wife Tracie of Ten Mile;
Robert Daniels of Harriman;
Mother in law Margie Strickland of Oliver Springs;
Sisters in law Crickett Cox and husband Mike;
Evelyn Edington;
Brother in law Danny Strickland and wife Sherry;
Aunt Judy Powell and husband Bud;
Several nieces and nephews, special thanks to TVA employees, Laborer's, family and exceptional friends. He loved you all.
 

Funeral 7pm Wednesday July 21, 2010 in the Kyker Chapel with Brother Charlie Hyde officiating. Burial 2pm Thursday at Luminary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7pm Wednesday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.

Debbie & Family,

 I wanted to tell you I am sorry to hear about uncle Richard. I am sorry I wasn't there, I wish I could but I wanted to let you know me and my family have you in our prayers. I was shocked to hear about his death. I wanted to let you know he was VERY special to me and I will miss him very much. If I can do anything at all please feel free to get in touch with me.
