Elizabeth Gregory Rivers

Elizabeth Gregory Rivers age 92 of Oakdale turned the last page of her earthly life on January 19th. She was an avid reader and writer being a member of the American Pen Women’s Associations for 36 years. She also had a great interest in Rugby, TN. Having lived there in 1934 and 1935. Mrs. Rivers was preceded in death in 1985 by her husband of 48 years A.J. Rivers Jr. Parents Jim and Marie Gregory and one brother James Wilson Gregory.

Survivors
Daughter Ann Ross of Rocky Face, GA.
Daughters and Son In Laws Kit and Richard Granat of Palm City, FL.
Pam and Gene Heidel of Graham, N.C.
Son and Daughter in Law Art and Kathy Rivers of Oakdale, TN
Sister Margaret Daniel of Chattanooga TN.
Eight grandchildren and seven great grand children


Grave side service 2 PM Sunday at Roane Memorial Gardens.
