Robert Henry (Buddy) Dotson age 73 of Sweetwater passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in his home. He was born in Monroe County. Preceded in death by his previous wife: Faye Ryan Dotson, brothers: Wayne, J.R. and Arthur Dotson, Parents: Robert Lee (Bob) and Oma Morgan Dotson. Survived by: Wife: Patsy  Dean Dotson, Sons and daughters-in-law: Ricky and Allen Dotson, Jimmie and Connie Cunningham, daughters and sons-in-law: Dianne and Howard Via of McDonough, GA., Jessie and James Helms,and  Wanda Cunningham, Son-in-law Richard Pascale all of Sweetwater, 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, Special nephews Dale and Lisa Dotson and Mikie and Chairitie Dotson. Thanks to all the grandchildren who made a special effort to help take care of Papaw, and especially thanks to our dear helpers of Hospice. The body is at Sweetwater Memory Chapel where the family will receive friends  Thursday , January 21, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, 12:00 Noon in Sweetwater Memory Chapel with Rev. Dennis Hicks and Jack Flowers officiating. Interment to follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park.
