Cora Hazelwood Lawson age 78 of Kingston went to be with Jesus Friday January 15, 2010 peacefully at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Ella Hazelwood, brothers George, Bill, J.W., Marvin, and Henry Hazelwood. Sister Betty Viar, and four infant brothers and sisters.
Survivors by her loving husband of 58 years the Rev. Roy Lawson of Kingston.
Daughters and sons in law Jeanette and James Cox of Kingston.
Diane and Ray Maxwell of Oliver Springs.
Son and daughter in law Roger and Betty Lawson of Kingston.
Sister and brother in law Mary and Alfred Herrell of Kingston.
Sisters in law Edith Hazelwood and Billie Jo Hazelwood.
Brothers in law Eugene and Aileen Lawson and Darwin Lawson
6 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren
Many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
Funeral 8pm Monday January 18, 2010 in the Kyker chapel with the Rev. Doug Green and the Rev. David Coffman officiating. Burial 11am Tuesday at Hazelwood cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Monday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
